Job Description :


You will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and testing of ABAP programs and functionalities, with a focus on leveraging OData services for data access and integration.

Responsibilities :

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for ABAP development.

- Design, develop, test, and implement robust and reusable ABAP programs using core ABAP, OO-ABAP concepts, and newer ABAP syntaxes (7.5+).

- Develop and maintain OData services for efficient data access and integration with external applications.

- Utilize CDS Views and AMDPs for data modeling and enhancing application performance.

- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand user needs and ensure technical solutions meet business objectives.

- Perform unit testing, code reviews, and participate in system integration testing.

- Implement user exits, BADIs, Smart Forms, ALVs, and RFCs as needed for specific functionalities.

- Manage data migration projects, including migrating master data from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA.

- Work closely with architects, developers, and other team members to ensure successful project delivery.

- Participate in code reviews and knowledge transfer sessions to maintain code quality and share expertise.

- Stay updated on the latest ABAP developments and best practices.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong understanding of SAP ABAP with a minimum of 7-9 years of experience.

- Experience in implementing SAP solutions.

- Proven expertise in core ABAP, OO-ABAP, CDS Views, and AMDPs.

- In-depth knowledge of OData services for data exposure.

- Experience with newer ABAP syntaxes introduced in version 7.5 and above.

Desirable Skills :

- Experience with ALE/IDOCs, Interface protocols (SOAP/REST), and SOAMANAGER.

- Experience working on S/4 HANA projects.

- Hands-on experience with data migration tools and processes.

- Familiarity with Adobe Forms development.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
