We are backed by angel investors and are dedicated to developing quality and effective solutions in solar PV and energy domains. We have a state of the art facility for new product development in Perumbavoor, Kerala and are looking to hire Server Administrator and Backend Programmer with 3 to 5 years’ experience in our engineering team.Key Responsibilities: Server Management & Monitoring: Oversee the server infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance. Database Management: Write, optimize and execute SQL queries for efficient data retrieval, updates and overall database management. Code Maintenance: Maintain the Laravel codebase of the project, ensuring its stability and performance. Data Security & Backup: Implement robust data backup and recovery protocols to safeguard sensitive information. Capacity Planning & Scaling: Engage in capacity planning, performance tuning, and system scaling to support organizational growth. Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in server security, maintenance, and operational procedures. Infrastructure Maintenance: Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for infrastructure upkeep, including hardening of servers and configuration of load balancers and firewalls.Key Requirements: Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in server-side management and backend programming. Backend Development: Experience in maintaining backend codebases, specifically in Laravel. Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing code for performance. SQL Proficiency: Strong command of SQL querying for data management, analysis and troubleshooting;

hands-on experience with MySQL database management is required. Server Environments: Solid understanding of managing Ubuntu servers. Monitoring &;

Uptime: Experience with server monitoring tools to ensure high performance and uptime. Cloud Infrastructure: Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably DigitalOcean) for server deployment and management;

experience with cloud-based applications and database backups. Security Expertise: Knowledge of system security protocols, including intrusion detection systems and server hardening practices. Development Skills: Working knowledge of PHP and project deployment, with a focus on maintaining rather than developing new features. MQTT Brokers: Experience handling MQTT brokers is a plus. Scripting Proficiency: Knowledge of server-side scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Bash is advantageous. Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure environments. Teamwork &;
