Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Content Strategy to lead our content function. This role is crucial in shaping the content marketing roadmap, crafting platform-specific strategies, mentoring a creative team, and playing a key role in campaign ideation, social media growth, and business pitches.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy aligned with business goals, brand positioning, and marketing initiatives.
- Identify content opportunities across influencer campaigns, social platforms, blog, email, and PR.
Team Leadership & Management
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing content team including writers, editors, designers, and videographers.
- Manage content calendars, workflows, and approval processes to ensure timely and high-quality output.
Creative Direction & Brand Voice
- Own the brand's tone of voice and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with influencer managers, campaign strategists, and client leads to develop content concepts and narratives.
Campaign Support
- Partner with client-facing teams to ideate and script influencer-led content and brand campaigns.
- Ensure content aligns with client objectives and enhances campaign performance.
Performance & Optimization
- Monitor content performance metrics and continuously refine strategies based on data and trends.
- Experiment with new formats, platforms, and storytelling methods to drive engagement and brand reach.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Client Services to align content with broader company objectives.
- Present content strategies and results to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- 7+ years of content experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in influencer marketing, digital media, or creative agencies.
- Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills across formats.
- Strong understanding of content trends, social platforms and creator economy.
- Experience managing creative teams and freelancers.
- Ability to think strategically while executing with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with content performance tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush, Sprout Social).
Nice to Have
- Experience working directly with influencers and content creators.
- Knowledge of SEO and content distribution strategies.
- Background in video storytelling and short-form content. A strong portfolio showcasing past content leadership and campaign work.
