Max. - - Functional Role (Job Description) We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Order Management Assistant Manager to assess the day-to-day operations of the order management function. This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate order processing, team performance, stakeholder coordination, and continuous process improvement. He / She will act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to drive service excellence and operational efficiency. Essential Desirable Education Background Graduate in Commerce.  MBA/ICWA/CA (Intermediate) a plus Work Experience  8 to 10 years in Order to Cash process of which 2 to 3 in a Supervisory role. Prior experience in Contracts set-up role is a must. Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel required  SAP ERP experience preferred Key Responsibilities Supervise and guide a team of order management specialists; provide coaching, training, and support to ensure team effectiveness. Monitor daily order flow and ensure timely and accurate order processing in line with company policies and service level agreements (SLAs). Allocate workload across team members and manage priorities in a dynamic environment. Act as a point of escalation for complex order issues, coordinating with sales, logistics, finance, and customer service to resolve promptly. Track and report key performance metrics (e.g., order cycle time, backlog, order accuracy) and drive improvement initiatives. Partners with cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, IT) streamline processes and enhance customer satisfaction. Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines related to order fulfillment Identify system/process gaps and contribute to automation or optimization projects (ERP improvements, workflow redesign, etc.) Lead daily/weekly team huddles and represent the team in business reviews or operational meetings. Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management of team members. To ensure that the team is aware and informed about the changes in Org structure, HR Policies, Admin policies, IT Policies etc. Perform back-up duties for Team Leads, as necessary.
