Job Summary

The Principal Salesforce Architect plays a critical role in designing and implementing the company's technology platform. They collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, define platform requirements, and develop robust architectural solutions. Specifically, the Principal Salesforce Architect will lead the architectural strategy and transformation of GE Appliances' E-Commerce space by moving a legacy site onto the Salesforce platform.1. Solution Design: Create and document enterprise, integration, and Salesforce specific solution designs that meet business needs, drive digital transformation, and minimize cost.2. Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices for speed and efficiency.3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Understand stakeholder needs and align technical solutions with business goals.4. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate technical risks.5. Documentation: Maintain technical documentation for knowledge sharing.6. Project Management: Contribute to project management activities.7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends.8. Security and Compliance: Ensure applications adhere to security best practices.9. Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and resolve issues.10. Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams.Preferred Qualifications:• Overall 12+ years IT experience and 1-3 years of Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience • 4-6 years of Salesforce experience in eCommerce website development using Salesforce Commerce, Experience Cloud, MuleSoft, and custom apps migration to the Salesforce B2B2C platform• Hands-on experience in Lightning Web Component design, Java/NodeJS/ReactJS/PL/SQL, Unix, integration middleware tools including MuleSoft (SOAP & RestAPI) & develop microservices and knowledge of Network administration, security protocols, permissions, and system configuration.• Practical expertise with Price Book setup and design, Role/Persona definition, delivery and installation integrations, and other Salesforce Administrator competencies.• Full stack engineer, server side/Frontend UI/Cloud provisioning• Experience in developing APIs on MuleSoft platform.• Experience in XML, Java, jQuery, JavaScript, Webservices, shell scripting.• Experience of MDM Implementations in Cloud and As-a-Service models.• Excellent communication and presentation skills with an ability to present technical solutions concisely from a small to large audience.• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ticketing systems such as JIRA• Highly proactive and results-oriented with excellent critical thinking skills• Any Integration certification (preferred)• Salesforce certification (preferred)• AWS/GCP certification (preferred)
