Job Description

Role Purpose

The role of DGM, Analytics and Reporting will build, improve, and execute the reporting and analytics capability for Syngenta Global Finance. This role will partner with all finance leaders and teams to identify, build, analyze, and operationalize the most valuable customer insights for the business group through utilization of existing and future platforms, sources, and technologies.

The key objectives of the role are:

  • Drive finance management reporting and analytics capability across Global Finance using SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Play an integral role in building of additional data driven analytics and assisting in the simplification of our business processes and tools used by business finance.
  • Devise/ execute a strategy to enhance the use of data analytics (descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive) across finance teams. Contribute to define the regional priorities aligned with global initiatives.
  • Increase data transparency across teams by creating new and enhancing existing data products.

Qualifications

 

  • Business background with strong data & analytics, process and organizational skill set
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify key customer insights and trends.
  • Knowledge and experience with various data analytics platforms and technologies, including SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Qlik, Python.AI/ML, SAP
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Preferred with FP&A background.
  • 10-12 years of experience in data analytics and reporting domain

Skills

  • Experienced people management skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and identify proactive solutions and implement change in a team-oriented environment.
  • Objective oriented and able to work independently in a proactive manner and to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are critical. Good English communicative skills are a must. The individual must be able to simplify complex financial information in a way that is easily understood and deliver the information verbally or in written form. Proven ability to foster culture of continuous improvement relating to processes and operational performance across the organizations to deliver higher levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Good project management and change management skills with proven ability to coordinate and manage several significant projects at once.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple projects.
  • Results oriented and ability to meet tight deadlines.
