About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Research Assistant to join our team and operate the Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SCFE) system to extract phytochemicals.

This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates eager to learn and grow in a dynamic research environment. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the SCFE extraction system under supervision.

  • Assist in extracting phytochemicals from various plant materials.

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results.

  • Perform basic analytical techniques to support phytochemical analysis.

  • Ensure proper upkeep of equipment and adherence to lab safety protocols.

  • Collaborate with the research team to support ongoing projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy, or a related science field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).

  • Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn new techniques and processes.

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in record-keeping.

  • Basic knowledge of phytochemical extraction processes (preferred but not mandatory).

  • Familiarity with basic analytical techniques such as chromatography, spectroscopy, or titration (an advantage).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A basic understanding of laboratory practices is a plus but not mandatory.
