ESD’s spirits are currently available in Goa, Mumbai, Delhi, in Duty Free across India, and in select international markets.
ESD is seeking a team of Area Sales Managers, On-Trade for Mumbai to deepen our relationship with 70+ on-trade premium outlets that already carry our products, and expand into an emerging new set of outlets & hotels.
Job Title: Area Sales Managers – On-Trade, Mumbai.
Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced sales professionals with a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in a similar role in Mumbai. Past work experience in a recognized firm in the spirits industry is clearly a preferable, though similar experience in the food & beverage sector serving the hospitality industry would be selectively considered. Strong understanding and relationships in the Mumbai on-trade premium market, understanding spirits, excellent field discipline, ability to take on challenges, great sales & customer-oriented skills, strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and confidence are some of the key personal attributes. A strong academic background will be a plus.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Developing & maintaining strong client relationships at bars, restaurants, & hotels.- Developing sales plans & strategies to achieve targets with the On-Trade/HORECA accounts. Includes identifying new business opportunities, understanding market trends, and effectively countering competitor activities.- Collaborating with marketing teams to develop & execute on-trade promotional campaigns, events, and activations. This includes sponsoring events, organizing tastings, and creating branded merchandise.- Effectively leveraging our team of full-time brand ambassadors to drive sales.- Having in-depth knowledge of our spirits and its unique selling points vis-à-vis competitors. Providing training to clients and their teams to enhance product knowledge and drive sales.
