About the Company



Symbiosis has established an Indias 1st skill development university called Symbiosis University of Applied Sciences (SUAS), spread over 30 acres of state of the- art campus. Based on the model of German universities of applied sciences, this pioneering skill development university offers BBA, B. Tech, and MBA programs in high growth sectors such as Mechatronics, Computer Science & IT, Retail, Digital Media, and Banking & Financial Services in order to create industry-ready students. The objective of the university is to impart training which will help students to acquire skills that are required for various jobs in the market.

Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the School of Digital Media & Marketing that aligns with SSPU's mission and the evolving needs of the industry.
  • Drive innovative educational programs and methodologies to support skill-based learning.
  • Set clear goals for academic and professional success, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for industry challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong industry relationships to enhance collaborative opportunities, internships, and real-world projects for students.
  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of the curriculum to reflect current trends, tools, and skills required in digital media and marketing.
  • Integrate experiential learning, workshops, and guest lectures from industry professionals.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage faculty members to create a high-performing academic team.
  • Support faculty in their professional development, ensuring they stay updated with the latest industry advancements.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance student career readiness, including skill-building workshops, networking events, and career services.
  • Ensure that graduates possess a robust set of technical and professional skills required for digital media and marketing roles.


Qualifications



Educational Background: Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field is highly preferred.



Required Skills



  • 15 to 25 years of industry experience in digital media, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in leadership, strategy development, and execution.
  • Extensive industry connections and a strong network within the digital media and marketing sectors.
