Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Pranatree LLC is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with a strong software development background to join our innovative and dynamic team. This remote position is ideal for candidates who have extensive experience in developing scalable machine learning solutions and integrating them with robust software systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong coding proficiency, a solid understanding of cloud platforms, and hands-on DevOps experience. Key Responsibilities : - Machine Learning Model Development : Design, build, and implement machine learning models for various use cases including predictive analytics, natural language processing, and recommendation systems. - Software Development : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and integrate models seamlessly into existing software systems. - API Development : Develop and maintain APIs using frameworks like FastAPI, Django, or Spring Boot to facilitate interactions with machine learning models. - Cloud Platform Utilization : Deploy and manage machine learning models using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - DevOps and Automation : Leverage DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines) to ensure continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of applications. Develop automation scripts for infrastructure management and monitoring. - Security and Compliance : Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations during model deployment and software development. - Agile Development : Work within Agile teams, following best practices for continuous development and delivery, and participate in sprint planning and reviews. - Collaboration and Mentorship : Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers. Mentor junior team members to foster growth and knowledge sharing. Qualifications and Requirements : - Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). - Experience : At least 8 years of experience in software development, with relevant hands-on experience in machine learning or AI-driven product development. Technical Skills : - Programming Proficiency : Strong coding skills in Python, Java, or C++. - API Development : Experience with API frameworks (stateless and stateful) like FastAPI, Django, Spring, and Spring Boot. - Cloud Platforms : Proficient with AWS, Azure, or GCP, including services such as IAM, monitoring, load balancing, autoscaling, and database management. - DevOps Expertise : Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools, and the ability to write DevOps scripts for automation and monitoring. - SDLC Knowledge : Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and adherence to best practices. - Software Engineering Practices : Good knowledge of version control systems (GIT), DevOps methodologies (preferably Azure DevOps), and Agile/Scrum practices. - Preferred Experience : AI/ML product development and experience in utilizing services such as AWS ECR, AKS, ACR. - Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts effectively. - Problem-Solving Ability : Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to tackling complex challenges. Performance Expectations : - Develop, deploy, and maintain efficient and scalable machine learning models. - Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and best practices for software and model deployment. - Maintain and optimize the CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery. - Actively contribute to Agile processes, ensuring timely and high-quality product deliveries.
