Revenue Manager

You will:

Lead and mentor revenue accounting offshore team (5-6)

Review and approve contracts, billing schedules, revenue schedules, and invoice credits entered in Workday

Prepare reconciliations, flux analysis, and related journal entries as part of month end close and ensure accurate and timely revenue accounting.

Provide technical accounting guidance by reading and interpreting contracts and preparing contract summaries and / or revenue recognition schedules.

Provide support to internal and external audit teams to support the quarterly review and annual audit activities

Ability to proactively manage multiple priorities and daily activities

Have strong communication skills to interact with business patterns including but not limited, commercial team, legal, deal desk and other operations teams

Ensure quality controls for entire process to maintain 100% accuracy

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies and procedures

Continuously evaluate and improve revenue accounting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance

General Responsibilities:

Adhere to company policies; escalate any exception requests to leadership.

Participate in calls with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Meet SLAs and deadlines.

Provide internal and external reporting.

Assist with ad hoc research, reporting, and projects.

Provide continuous improvement to standardize and streamline processes (e.g. automate manual billing, increase speed and accuracy of invoicing).

Perform SOX controls and maintain documentation.


About you:


High attention to detail

Ability to take ownership of your workload and prioritize to meet deadlines

Continually looking to improve and streamline processes

Collaborative team player

8+ years of experience in public accounting and / or relevant industry experience

Chartered Accountant/ CPA equivalent

Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and OTC

Preferred experience with Workday’s Revenue Management system
