Skill: Apps DBA and OCI Admin

  • Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle EBS software and related products.
  • Experience of 3+ years in OCI administration
  • Hands on TLS, DMZ, PCP, Load balancer configuration.
  • Hands on Backup, Recovery and cloning activities
  • Configuring Data Guard and Standby.
  • Perform EBS application and Database upgrades
  • Security compliance by applying regular security patches
  • Administrate EBS as part of a team and provide 24×7 support when required
  • Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams.
  • Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
  • Expert in Patch Management and Version Control.
  • Perform database tuning and performance monitoring.
  • Perform application tuning and performance monitoring.
  • Knowledge of SSO configuration and maintenance support.
  • Handling Cloud Migrations and maintenance, Knowledge of OCI/AWS/Azure/Google added advantage.
  • Ability to design and build compute and storage services for various workloads including general purpose, Enterprise Grade Applications, Compute intensive, memory intensive, storage intensive workloads on Windows and Linux.
  • Ability to create, configure and manage OCI Storage service resources like Block Volumes, Object Storage Buckets and File Storage Service
  • Basic Understanding on Oracle Licensing models for compute and storage etc.
  • Ensure the effective daily operation of the production / database applications and provides administrative support for new implementations, upgrades, and migrations
  • Ability to create and manage Block/Boot volume, volume cloning, backup, replicas, cross region replica, DCDR strategies, volume groups, images, custom images on various platforms
  • Ability to create and manage Object Storage Buckets, permission/visibility, Archival storage, lifecycle policies, backups, connectivity with computes and services etc.
  • Tuning and Performance management for computes images/ shapes / OS on OCI. Scaling / Autoscaling and customizations on computes.
  • Should be able to create, configure and manage OCI Storage service resources
  • Understanding of OS concepts, Linux administration and support quarterly release management
  • Oracle Cloud certifications will be preferred.
  • 19c OCP, Oracle Cloud Architecture certifications will be preferred.
