Job Title: Snowflake Administrator – Azure Cloud Integration Location: PAN India Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Mid to Senior (3+ years) Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactive Snowflake Administrator with deep expertise in Azure Cloud to manage, optimize, and secure our Snowflake data platform. This role involves hands-on administration, performance tuning, and seamless integration of Snowflake within the Azure ecosystem, ensuring high availability, scalability, and compliance with data governance standards. Key Responsibilities Snowflake Administration Provision, configure, and manage Snowflake environments: warehouses, databases, schemas, roles, and users Monitor and optimize performance, storage, and query efficiency Implement data sharing, replication, and failover strategies Automate administrative tasks using Snowflake scripting and tools Azure Cloud Integration Integrate Snowflake with Azure services: Data Factory, Blob Storage, Synapse, Key Vault Manage ETL/ELT workflows and data pipelines between Snowflake and Azure Ensure secure connectivity via Azure Private Link, VNet integration, and IAM roles Security & Compliance Design and enforce RBAC, RLS, and CLS policies for granular data protection Ensure compliance with standards like GDPR, HIPAA Conduct audits and manage encryption keys and secrets Monitoring & Support Set up monitoring and alerting for Snowflake usage and performance Troubleshoot data access, performance, and integration issues Provide support to data engineering and analytics teams Documentation & Collaboration Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, processes, and best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams: data engineers, architects, DevOps Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience administering Snowflake in production environments Strong experience with Azure Cloud services and architecture Proven expertise in RBAC, RLS, and CLS implementation in Snowflake Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake scripting, and data modeling Experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC tools (Terraform, Azure DevOps) Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Skills Snowflake SnowPro Certification Azure Administrator or Azure Data Engineer Certification Experience with Python or other scripting languages Knowledge of other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)
