Overview:

Lead automation and controls initiatives across international markets and Greater China, ensuring standardized, safe, and cost-effective solutions. Collaborate with global engineering teams and report to the GTO COE Operations Manager, with dotted-line reporting to regional engineering and automation leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety practices.
  • Lead process control and automation projects, including brownfield upgrades and equipment design.
  • Collaborate remotely across teams to drive engineering improvements.
  • Manage risk assessments (PHA, HAZOP) and ensure process safety.
  • Interpret technical drawings and develop control narratives and logic diagrams.
  • Support OT cybersecurity initiatives and ensure resilient operations.
  • Oversee project execution, budgeting (CapEx/OpEx), and stakeholder reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or Chemical Engineering with Cybersecurity focus.
  • 6+ years in automation/process controls in chemical or related industries.
  • Proficient in PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, sensors, robotics, and industrial standards (NEC, IEC).
  • Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Background in advanced process controls.
  • Multilingual proficiency is a plus.
