Learning and Development – At Sigmoid

The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end program management of the learning initiatives. They will be involved in the coordination and administration of a range of learning and development activities and projects as directed by the learning and development team as well as ensuring the development and maintenance of robust learning and development systems and processes. The individual will directly work with stakeholders for requirement gathering and suggesting new learning interventions

What drives this role:

Learning & Development support:

1. Developing and maintaining accurate and easily accessible records and processes for all learning and development activities and processes. Recording and monitoring attendance, sending invites, capturing feedback, managing evaluations and any other logistics required for smooth completion of trainings2. Ensuring that trainees and trainers attend specific training sessions - Block calendars, send reminders,follow up, etc.3. Manage ad-hoc training needs - identify learning content, coordinating with SMEs, planning calendar, scheduling, feedback, etc4. Working closely with the learning and development team to design appropriate processes and practices. Identifying any process enhancements needed5. Building a relationship with delivery teams to assist in any technical learning requirements and also provide support as an SME and mentor

Assist in Content Creation and delivery:

1. Creating soft skills content based on the inputs shared by the stakeholders.2. Ensuring that content and context of all materials remains current and relevant for business needs.3. Be able to deliver soft skills trainings effectively by engaging audience and delivering as per the requirements4. Creating any learning collateral needed

Manage information / data collection:

1. Responsibility for monitoring and evaluating learning and organisation development activities, producing accurate and up-to-date data analysis. Also, flag any concerns in training processes2. Assisting with periodic reporting as requested such as; creating and maintaining training activity records, updating training records and ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date and producing reports as required.3. Establishing systems to record and produce regular reports on learning and development metrics.

General

1. Developing and maintaining positive, collaborative working relationships with all staff to sustain the reputation of the L&D team as a customer focused function2. Attending meetings, taking notes and progressing actions as required.3. Ensuring that confidentiality and security of sensitive information is maintained and complies with the requirements of the organisation

What you need to drive this role:

1. Bachelor’s degree with a good awareness of the HR / Training Function.2. Years of experience with strong communication skills and keen to assist people with their learning and development needs with proven people management skills.3. Should have good working knowledge and proficiency in Google suite, MS Office, Canva, Articulate, and any e-learning content creation platforms.4. Experience in coordinating Technology / Behavioral Trainings will be preferred.5. Confident in both written and spoken communication with the ability to present to large audiences6. Should be able to multitask, plan and organize activities effectively to meet deadlines and objectives.
