Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Architect IV to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Responsible for guiding the design and implementation of secure solutions and services across our business and IT support areas. 

·         Drive the successful configuration and implementation of security solutions to reduce risk to an acceptable level.

·         Blend expert knowledge in Enterprise Architecture and Defense-In-Depth principles to provide input to Security Authorization process activities and related documentation (e.g., system life- cycle support plans, concepts of operations, operational procedures and maintenance of training materials)

·         Validates accuracy and applicability of technical solutions to incorporate environmental conditions with business needs. Drives standardization of architectures for future use


Requirements

Required Experience/Skills:

·         Bachelors degree in an engineering/cyber discipline with at least 10+ years of professional experience; or equivalent experience/combined education; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

·         2 years of leadership experience with planning and managing security engagements.

·         One or more required:

o    CompTIA Network+ CE

o    CompTIA A+ CE

o    CompTIA Security+ CE

o    CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker

o    CISSP, CISSP-ISSEP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSMP preferred

o    CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor

Other Requirements:

·         Candidates must either be US Citizens or Permanent Residents

·         Candidates must have resided in the United States for the past 5 years

·         Candidates must not have traveled outside of the United States for a combined total of 6 months or greater in the past 5 years

·         This position requires successful completion of a background check, drug screen, and a credit check.

Education: Bachelors and ten (10) years or more experience; or Masters and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience


Benefits

Benefits: Full-time employees (permanent or contract employees who are employed for a term greater than 6 months) are eligible for benefits including time-off benefits, such as vacations and holidays, and insurance and other plan benefits.

Location: Washington, DC - Remote support is authorized, but candidates must be local to the Washington DC area..
