Job Overview

We are looking for a
Software Support Engineer
to provide technical assistance and support to clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting software issues, ensuring smooth operation of applications, and collaborating with development teams for bug fixes and improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide
    first and second-level technical support
    for software applications.
  • Diagnose and resolve software errors, bugs, and configuration issues.
  • Log, track, and manage support requests through a ticketing system.
  • Collaborate with software developers to escalate unresolved issues.
  • Assist with software installation, upgrades, and user training.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Ensure timely communication and updates to clients regarding issue resolution.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective problem resolution.
  • The candidate must travel across pan-India for clients' problem-solving.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience (2–5 years) in
    software support, technical support, or IT helpdesk
    roles.
  • Strong understanding of
    operating systems (Windows OS Installation)
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    databases (SQL, Oracle, or MySQL)
    .
  • Familiarity with software debugging, log analysis, and APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
