Senior Technology Manager

Location : Hyderabad

Experience : 10-12 years

eMedEvents is a premier online platform for Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Education (CE). We provide a comprehensive solution for healthcare professionals to find, register, and attend CME/CE events and courses. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Manager to lead our technology team and drive the development of our ed-tech platform.

Key Responsibilities :

Hands-on Development :

- Lead the development team with hands-on experience in PHP, specifically with the CodeIgniter framework.

- Utilize front-end technologies, including ReactJS and NEXTJS, to develop and enhance the user interface.


- Develop and maintain hybrid mobile applications using React Native.

Code Quality & Testing :

- Oversee the code review process, ensuring high-quality code standards.

- Implement unit testing and maintain thorough code documentation.

- Implement and manage the CI/CD process for seamless integration and deployment.

Architecture & Scalability :

- Identify opportunities for migrating from a monolithic architecture to microservices based on scalability plans.

- Ensure smooth and efficient transition and scalability of the platform.

Database & Search Technologies :

- Manage and optimize the MYSQL database and Elasticsearch for full-text search and data analytics.

- Utilize Kibana for data visualization, log and time-series analytics, application monitoring, and operational intelligence.

Cloud Management :

- Deploy and manage code on AWS, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.


- Oversee the integration of various payment gateways such as Authorize.net and Stripe.


Technical Recruitment :

- Identify resource requirements and collaborate with the recruitment team to hire the best talent.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Collaborate with stakeholders for requirement gathering.

- Manage product requirements with a focus on delivering high-quality educational technology solutions.

AI/ML & Integrations :

- Leverage AI/ML technologies to enhance the ed-tech platform, particularly in a Learning Management System (LMS) context.

- Integrate the platform with marketing automation tools and CRM to enhance operational efficiency and user engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 10-12 years of experience in technology management, with a strong background in ed-tech platforms.

- Proficient in PHP (CodeIgniter framework), ReactJS, NEXTJS, and React Native.

- Experience in code review, unit testing, and code documentation.

- Expertise in CI/CD processes.

- Proven ability to migrate from monolithic to microservices architecture.

- Strong knowledge of MYSQL database, Elasticsearch, and Kibana.

- Hands-on experience with AWS, including deployment and management.

- Familiarity with payment gateways such as Authorize.net and Stripe.

- Experience in technical recruitment and team management.

- Excellent collaboration and product management skills.

- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in ed-tech platforms.

- Experience integrating with marketing automation tools and CRM.
