The Data Migration Expert is responsible for the overall end-to-end execution of data migration activities. This role involves close collaboration with local business and functional teams while acting as a bridge between the Global Data Migration Expert (GDME) and Data Migration Execution teams. The expert ensures that local requirements are accurately captured in conversion workbooks and effectively delivered during Responsibilities :


- Serve as the deployment wave focal point for assigned data objects in scope for deployment or local data migration projects.

- Collaborate with Business Data Owners (BDOs Global, Regional, or Local), Functional Experts, ETL teams, legacy system teams, and deployment teams.

- Drive migration activities for deployment projects.

- Verify data transformation tools and outputs for deployment wave projects.

- Manage DMW load file preparation and perform initial verification.

- Execute DVT scripts and support defect/hypercare incident resolution for assigned data

objects.

- Coordinate defect resolution or escalate to GDMEs as needed.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GxP, Skills & Qualifications :

- 10+ years of ERP project implementation experience, with strong data migration expertise.

- Proven experience in data migration execution across multi-country, multi-system

environments.

- Hands-on knowledge of SAP BODS.

- Strong understanding of GxP and CSV requirements.

- SAP Certified in at least one relevant functional area.

- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a global, matrix-based organization.

- Strategic and hands-on mindset with experience running meetings, tracking progress, and

managing issues.

- Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Fluent in English (additional languages Experience :

- Exposure to healthcare or regulated industry environments.
