Summary of Payroll Specialist Job Description

This job posting is for a Payroll Specialist with experience in the Middle East (UAE, KSA, Qatar, Kuwait). The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire payroll process, ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resolve employee inquiries and complex payroll issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors
  • Manage data integration between Workday and SAP systems
  • Ensure adherence to payroll timelines and procedures
  • Perform payroll reconciliations and maintain payroll blueprint
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports
  • Monitor bank transfers and address any rejected transactions
  • Conduct basic testing of payroll system changes
  • Research and resolve escalated payroll problems
  • Submit payroll tax documents (lodgments)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or post-secondary degree
  • Payroll certification
  • 3-5 years of payroll experience in the Middle East
  • Experience with SAP and Workday integrations (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain ACE Associate certification within a year
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of regional and local payroll regulations
  • Understanding of international employee assignments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated team player with strong organizational skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work overtime during peak periods
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data

Additional Information:

This role may require overtime work to meet payroll deadlines. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain confidentiality of all payroll-related information.


CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE SUPPORTED FOR MIDDLE EAST/ APAC REGION PAYROLL.
