IAM Engineering Manager

Work Location: Bangalore

Working Hours: 2 Pm to 11PM


Summary

Identity and Access Management (IAM) Manager will be responsible for overseeing the IAM development and engineering team. Candidate will lead a team of IAM professionals to ensure project management & employee management in IAM Development and Engineering services, with a focus on maintaining IAM policies and controls in business management systems. The ideal candidate should have experience working with SailPoint IIQ/Identity Now, CyberArk, Azure IAM, Cryptographic Key and Certificate Management Platforms, and other IAM tools/technologies and leading a team that maintains and develops software applications to address various IAM business challenges, including system provisioning, authentication, authorization, access certifications, controls, role management, APIs, policies, and procedures.


Job Description

Responsibilities


  • Performing technical analysis, Risk assessment and Security initiatives as per policy and guidelines.
  • Managing and leading IAM Engineering and Development teams.
  • Following SDLC approach and driving team to handle end to end tasks.
  • Establishes and manages team and individual resource goals.
  • Driving team to achieve short and long terms goals and objectives for successful outcome.
  • Performing design and develop reviews on various tools and technologies.
  • Oversees Employees performance management, building collaboration, employee engagement, employee development and building positive team culture.
  • Handling team as per Organisation policy and procedures.
  • Talent Management & Recruitment support.
  • Establishes and maintains the overall work cadence and, in partnership with stake holders and ensures performance and outcomes strive for excellence in delivery and customer experience.
  • Communicates with clients and other stakeholders to gain community support for projects and solicits input for continuous improvement.
  • Ensures adherence to company policies and procedures and compliance responsibilities. Also ensures data quality, adherence to Global IT security guidelines, and other risk-related metrics for self and members of the team.
  • Provides escalation path for project issues, and guides team to resolution through technical expertise, business knowledge, and negotiation skills.
  • Manages and monitors a queue of issues and changes for team to ensure timely resolution; ensures stakeholders are updated regularly on progress.
  • Regularly communicates task statuses, open issues, new priorities, and challenges for reporting teams to impacted stakeholders and IAM leadership.


Competencies:


  • Experience in collaborating with Global clients and teams.
  • Experience in managing security functional teams like, Identity Governance & Administration, Encryption Services, Cloud IAM & Privileged Security.
  • Experience in secure coding experience of main programming languages such as Java, .Net.
  • Experience with Agile practice &, SCRUM practices
  • Effective communication, interpersonal skills, Consulting skills (client service orientation, conflict resolution, analysis of information, negotiation, project management, etc.).
  • Ability to create/review technical documentations.
  • Flexibility to work occasional non-standard hours.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a challenging environment.
  • Preferred work experience working in a regulated environment (SOX, PCI, ISO).
  • Ability to proactively collaborate by sharing information, managing knowledge across many technology domains, and providing solutions for broad adoption of IAM solutions.
  • A driven initiative-taker, self-motivated, and time management skills.
  • Experience with a diverse set of technologies, including various programming languages, operating systems, storage, virtualization, cloud computing, platform support, and infrastructure automation.
  • Experience with developing/supporting IDM workflows, rules and integration logic using BeanShell and Java.
  • Worked on SailPoint REST, Active Directory, etc. connectors.
  • Experience in PKI and cryptographic key lifecycle management and automation.
  • Experience with directories (Azure AD, Active Directory), SSO, Federation, API gateways.
  • Exposure in supporting web based IAM related protocols such as SAML, SCIM, OpenID, OAuth, federation concepts and technology such as ADFS and Okta IAM products.


Educational Qualification and Experience:


  • Minimum of 15 years of formal education - Graduate / Postgraduate in Computer Science / Information Technology.
  • Professional related work experience between 8 to 12 years.
  • At least 4 to 6 years of work experience as technical team lead/ development team lead in IAM technologies like SailPoint IIQ, CyberArk, Cloud IAM- Azure, AWS.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software development


Certifications:


  • Preferred certification in SailPoint IIQ, CyberArk, Venafi, Azure & in project management tool.
  • CISSP or CISM.
