Experience: 6-8 Years (Workday Functional Experience)Key Responsibilities:Workday Functional Leadership:- Lead the end-to-end configuration and management of Workday HCM modules including Payroll, Time & Absence, and Core HCM.System Configuration & Enhancements:- Design, build, test, and deploy Workday configurations aligned with business requirements; ensure compliance with global payroll and HR policies.Module Support & Optimization:- Provide expert-level functional support across Recruiting, Compensation, Talent, and related modules; identify and implement process automation opportunities.Stakeholder Collaboration:- Partner with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional solutions, and deliver system enhancements that improve efficiency.Release Management:- Support Workday release cycles - analyze new features, assess business impact, and coordinate testing and adoption.Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution:- Manage complex issue resolution, root cause analysis, and proactive system monitoring.Documentation & Governance:- Maintain detailed system documentation, configuration logs, and change management records in compliance with internal governance.Mentoring & Best Practices:- Guide junior consultants and business users on Workday functionalities, best practices, and process Expertise:- Deep functional experience in Workday Payroll, Time & Absence, and HCM Core Configuration.- Strong understanding of Workday Business Processes, Security Framework, and Integrations.- Experience supporting and configuring Recruiting, Compensation, and Talent Management modules.Tools & Functional Knowledge- Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder).- Familiarity with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and data management tools.- Strong understanding of global payroll rules, accruals, and compliance.- Exposure to testing frameworks, UAT management, and data Certification (Mandatory) - Payroll, Time & Absence, or HCM Core.Additional certifications in Recruiting or Compensation modules are a plus (ref:iimjobs.com)
