DevOps Manager (ML Focused)

We're looking for an experienced DevOps Manager with a strong focus on Machine Learning (ML) operations to join our team.

Location : This is a work-from-office opportunity based in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage the DevOps team, with a particular emphasis on integrating and optimizing DevOps practices within Machine Learning (ML) lifecycles.

- Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines for both traditional software and ML models.

- Develop and enforce best practices for real-time model monitoring, observability, and alerting to ensure the health and performance of deployed ML models.

- Standardize and streamline the deployment process for ML models, ensuring consistency, reliability, and reproducibility across environments.

- Drive infrastructure automation using tools and scripts to provision, configure, and manage cloud resources efficiently.

- Collaborate closely with data scientists, ML engineers, and software development teams to understand their needs and provide effective DevOps solutions for ML.

- Implement and manage version control, release management, and configuration management for ML code, data, and models.

- Evaluate and introduce new tools and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our ML DevOps processes.

- Ensure security, compliance, and governance for ML pipelines and infrastructure.

- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the DevOps team.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

- 10-12 years of extensive experience in DevOps, with a significant focus and proven expertise in DevOps for Machine Learning (MLOps).

- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation, automation, and deployment strategies.

- Expertise in setting up and managing real-time model monitoring and observability solutions for ML models.

- Demonstrated experience in ML model deployment and standardization, including model versioning, serving, and lifecycle management.

- Proficiency in infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar.

- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services relevant to DevOps and ML.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their application in ML workflows.

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a team and collaborate effectively across departments.

- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
