Role: ServiceNow SAM Specialist Experience:7+ Years Location:Bangalore/Hybrid Notice Period:Immediate to 30 Days Job Description: We are seeking an experiencedServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) Specialistwith strong expertise in managing end-to-end software asset lifecycle within the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAM modules, license management, software compliance, and process automation. Key Responsibilities: Implement and manageServiceNow SAM module , including setup, configuration, and optimization. Utilizelicense reconciliation and entitlement managementto ensure software compliance and cost optimization. Managesoftware normalizationand handle complex licensing models for multiple vendors. Monitor and maintainsoftware compliance and health reportsthrough dashboards and analytics in ServiceNow. Work extensively withServiceNow Software Asset Workspaceto streamline SAM processes and track KPIs. Configure and customize workflows forsoftware license reclamation, optimization, and renewal tracking . LeverageServiceNow Discovery and CMDB integrationsfor accurate software asset identification and data correlation. Implementautomation and workflowsto manage the software asset lifecycle efficiently. UseLicense Workbenchfor proactive asset optimization and license usage tracking. Collaborate with ITAM, procurement, and compliance teams to align SAM processes with organizational policies. Required Skills & Experience: Minimum7 years of experiencein IT Asset Management, with at least3–4 years in ServiceNow SAM . Strong understanding ofServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and integrations . Hands-on experience withSoftware Asset Workspace ,License Workbench , andSAM Publisher Packs . Expertise insoftware license compliance ,vendor management , andnormalization rules . Experience increating reports and dashboardsfor audit and compliance tracking. ServiceNow CIS–SAM or ITAM certificationpreferred. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Good to Have: Exposure toHardware Asset Management (HAM)orITAMmodules. Experience working withmultiple license models (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, etc.) . Prior experience inSAM process implementation or transformation projects .
