Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced API Architect to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT with extensive experience as a Solution Architect.

The candidate should have expertise in event-driven and API-led architecture, along with a solid understanding of various Azure technologies.

Experience with Kafka, AKS, and designing and developing web API applications is essential.

Exposure to order management functionality is preferable.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect solutions using event-driven architecture (EDA) and API-led architecture.

- Utilize Azure services such as Azure Functions, Event Hubs, Logic Apps, and Service Bus to develop scalable and efficient solutions.

- Leverage Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and overall project management.

- Implement and manage Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing.

- Utilize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for containerized application deployment and management.

- Design and develop web API applications, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and maintainable.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.

- Ensure best practices and standards are followed in the architecture and development processes.

- Document architectural decisions, solutions, and implementation plans.

Qualifications :

- Minimum of 12 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years as a Solution Architect.

- Proven experience in event-driven architecture (EDA) and API-led architecture.

- Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Functions, Event Hubs, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.

- Proficiency in Azure DevOps for CI/CD and project management.

- Hands-on experience with Kafka for real-time data streaming.

- Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container management.

- Strong background in designing and developing web API applications.

- Exposure to order management functionality is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
