We draw on some of the sharpest minds from distinguished institutions and diverse professional backgrounds to help us achieve our goal of building electoral strategies that spark conversations, effect change, and help shape electoral and legislative ecosystems in our country.About the Team:The Andhra Communications Team is responsible for driving narrative alignment, content planning, political communication, public messaging, and coordination with leadership teams. As part of a rapidly expanding communications function, you will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, speed, and consistency across all communication outputs.This team works at the intersection of political strategy, media insight, stakeholder coordination, and narrative execution, supporting on-ground and digital communication initiatives across Andhra Pradesh.What Would This Role Entail?Team & Operations Management- Lead, mentor, and manage a team handling communication, coordination, and reporting workflows. - Oversee day-to-day operations, task delegation, and performance tracking to ensure timely delivery. - Implement structured review mechanisms, tracking systems, and operational processes.Communication & Narrative Management- Supervise the creation, review, and execution of communication material for Andhra projects. - Coordinate with strategic, media, content, and research teams to ensure narrative alignment. - Ensure accuracy, clarity, and political relevance in communication outputs.Cross-Functional Collaboration- Coordinate with state leadership, cross-state teams, and central verticals for smooth communication flow. - Work closely with the Comms, Media Monitoring, and Research teams to integrate insights into communication planning.Stakeholder Coordination- Serve as a key point of contact between internal teams, leadership, and external partners. - Facilitate structured communication and ensure deliverables meet the expectations of senior stakeholders.Performance & Reporting- Drive team performance by defining KPIs, improving workflows, and ensuring operational excellence. - Oversee creation of reports, briefs, and dashboards related to communications and narrative effectiveness.Crisis & Priority Handling- Respond quickly to urgent communication requirements, high-priority tasks, and narrative shifts. - Ensure operational stability even in fast-paced, high-pressure political environments.Necessary Qualifications/Skills:- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Communications, Political Science, Management, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in communications, political consulting, operations management, media, or similar portfolios. - Proven experience in team management and leading multi-functional workflows. - Strong verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English and Telugu (preferred). - Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and prioritize tasks. - Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. - Prior experience in political communication, narrative management, or election-related work is an added advantage. - Familiarity with reporting dashboards, documentation tools, and project management systems.Good to Have Skills:- Prior experience in political communication, public affairs, or election-related projects. - Strong understanding of Andhra Pradesh’s political landscape and regional context. - Familiarity with media monitoring, reporting dashboards, or project management tools. - Willingness to travel as per project requirements.How to ApplyIf you're a fresh professional looking for a high-impact challenge, interested in joining a team of like-minded and motivated individuals who think strategically, act decisively, and get things done, drop in an email at openings@varaheanalytics.com
