Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer – SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) to design, build, and configure applications that align with business processes and application requirements. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and leadership capabilities, with a focus on delivering optimized, scalable, and high-performing solutions in SAP MDG.

The ideal candidate will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding the team through complex technical challenges, ensuring adherence to best practices, and driving successful project outcomes.


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, build, and configuration of applications using SAP MDG to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Act as an SME in SAP MDG, providing technical expertise and direction to team members.
  • Drive integration of SAP MDG with other SAP modules and third-party systems.
  • Provide scalable and innovative solutions to complex problems across multiple teams.
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and ensure timely implementation of application features.
  • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to build team capabilities and improve overall application development standards.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing applications to improve performance and usability.
  • Contribute to decision-making at both team and organizational levels by providing insights and recommendations.


Professional & Technical Skills

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong expertise in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Tool (minimum 5 years).
  • Hands-on experience with SAP MDG data modeling, workflows, UI configuration, and validations/derivations.
  • In-depth understanding of data governance principles and master data processes.
  • Proven experience integrating SAP MDG with other SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, etc.).
  • Proficiency in application development methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.


Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of SAP HANA, S/4HANA, and Fiori applications.
  • Familiarity with data migration strategies and tools.
  • Experience in leading teams and mentoring junior developers.
