Job Description –SAP Master Data Governance – MDG Technical

Location: Bengaluru

Experience Required: Minimum 7.5 years in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Developer – SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) to design, build, and configure applications that support critical business processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP MDG, with proven ability to collaborate across teams, provide strategic solutions, and ensure application performance and usability.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Lead and manage the team, ensuring effective decision-making and accountability.
  • Drive integration of SAP MDG with other SAP modules and business processes.
  • Provide innovative solutions to complex problems across multiple teams.
  • Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance overall team capability.
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and ensure timely delivery of application features.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, best practices, and governance principles.
  • Provide support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing applications.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) Tool (minimum 7.5 years).
  • In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, master data processes, and workflows.
  • Proven expertise in integration of SAP MDG with other SAP modules (ECC, S/4HANA, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of application development methodologies and best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve complex application issues.
  • Experience in team collaboration, decision-making, and stakeholder management.

Additional Information

  • The role is based in Bengaluru.
  • Requires 15 years of full-time education.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential.
