Job Title: Project Closure Specialist (Project Controller – Project Closure)

Location: Bangalore
Industry: Construction / Engineering / Manufacturing / EPC

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Closure Specialist to independently manage projects during the final stages and ensure smooth closure. The role focuses on financial, contractual, and administrative closeout, minimizing risks, and optimizing project outcomes. The ideal candidate should bring strong project controlling and financial expertise, with proven ability to handle project closure in SAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Closeout Management:

    • Initiate closeout activities at ~95% POC/physical progress.

    • Manage pending tasks, prepare closeout status reports, and ensure closure in SAP.

    • Oversee end-stage project execution and submit final margin reports.

  • Financial Closure:

    • Verify closure of bonds, claims, costs, invoices, and ensure all financial obligations are settled.

    • Perform cash flow closure, manage forex/hedging, and recover performance bonds.

  • Documentation & Archiving:

    • Ensure final documentation is archived per compliance standards.

    • Maintain efficient record-keeping and audit readiness.

  • Project Execution (Final Phase):

    • Take handover from execution controller and manage forecasts, reviews, costs, and project financials.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Act as key contact for customers during closure.

    • Lead closeout meetings with clients and internal teams, ensuring transparent communication.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8–10 years of experience as Project Controller / Project Accounting (preferably in EPC, Construction, or Engineering projects).

  • Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA (FICO, SD-PS) , project accounting, and financial closure.

  • MBA (Finance) / CA / ICWA preferred.

  • Advanced Excel & MS Office proficiency.

  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
