About the Role :


We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will ensure software quality through well-planned test cases, efficient defect tracking, and automation scripts using modern tools.

Key Responsibilities :


- Review requirements, design test cases, and execute test plans.

- Perform manual testing - functional, regression, smoke, sanity, usability, and UI testing.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium (Java or similar).

- Participate in Agile ceremonies - daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.

- Collaborate with developers, BA, and product owners to resolve issues.

- Document test results and provide QA status reports.

- Continuously contribute to improving QA processes and test coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications :


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in software testing (Manual + Automation).

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.

- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java (or similar automation frameworks).

- Experience with writing and executing test scripts.

-Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.

- Familiarity with version control (Git) and bug tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.).

- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication.

Good to Have :


- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured).

- Knowledge of TestNG/JUnit frameworks.

-Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
