About the Role :We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer with 1-3 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will ensure software quality through well-planned test cases, efficient defect tracking, and automation scripts using modern tools.Key Responsibilities :- Review requirements, design test cases, and execute test plans.- Perform manual testing - functional, regression, smoke, sanity, usability, and UI testing.- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium (Java or similar).- Participate in Agile ceremonies - daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.- Log, track, and verify defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.- Collaborate with developers, BA, and product owners to resolve issues.- Document test results and provide QA status reports.- Continuously contribute to improving QA processes and test coverage.Required Skills & Qualifications :- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in software testing (Manual + Automation).- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver with Java (or similar automation frameworks).- Experience with writing and executing test scripts.-Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.- Familiarity with version control (Git) and bug tracking tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.).- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication.Good to Have :- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured).- Knowledge of TestNG/JUnit frameworks.-Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
