Our expertise allows businesses to focus on their core operations while we take care of their HR needs.🔍 About the Opportunity:Our client, a reputed super-specialty healthcare provider, is seeking a qualified Intensivist for their 12-bedded Cardiac & Medical ICU on a 12-hour shift basis (6 days/week). The ideal candidate should have relevant qualifications and strong experience in ICU settings, including ventilator management and ICU procedures.Note: Any calls attended during the day or anesthesia standby for procedures will be compensated separately.✅ Key Responsibilities:Clinical & Collaborative: Manage critically ill patients and lead a multidisciplinary ICU team. Rapidly assess and stabilize patient conditions. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Coordinate with specialists across departments. Communicate effectively with patients’ families regarding care and prognosis. Administrative: Oversee daily ICU operations, including staffing and workflow. Contribute to policy development and critical care standards. Educate and mentor medical and nursing staff in critical care principles. Quality & Improvement: Monitor key ICU metrics such as mortality, LOS, and complications. Lead performance improvement and patient safety initiatives. Implement evidence-based practices and protocols. 🎓 Candidate Profile: MD / DNB / DA in Anesthesiology (Mandatory) Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (Preferred) Minimum 3 years of experience in ICU or critical care settings Proficient in ventilator management and ICU procedures Strong team leadership and communication skills
