What You'll Achieve :

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join our team and help build, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and DevOps processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, automation, and system reliability.

You will :

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on Azure.

- Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning and management.

- Implement and manage monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance.

- Conduct regular stress tests and optimize system performance.

- Manage and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.

- Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployability and reliability.

- Implement and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions.

- Ensure compliance with SLAs and continuously improve system reliability.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in cloud and DevOps.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Essential Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).

- 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or similar roles.

- Proven track record of successfully implementing and managing large-scale cloud infrastructure.

- Extensive experience with DevOps practices and tools.

- Proficiency in Azure cloud platform and services.

- Strong scripting skills using Python and/or Bash.

- Experience in implementing and managing uptime monitoring solutions.

- Knowledge of SLAs and how to meet them consistently.

- Expertise in stress testing and performance optimization.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Azure ARM templates).

- Demonstrated ability to optimize system performance and reliability.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus.

Desirable Requirements :

- Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP)

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)

- Familiarity with log management and analysis tools

- Understanding of network security principles and implementation

- Experience with database administration and optimization
