Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Lead and oversee all downstream API production activities includingfiltration, centrifugation, drying, milling, sifting, and packing . Ensure adherence toproduction targets ,quality standards , anddelivery timelines . Drive continuous improvement inyield, throughput, and efficiencywhile minimizing waste and downtime. Compliance & Documentation: EnsurecGMP ,FDA ,WHO , and other regulatory compliance in downstream operations. Review and approveBatch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) ,SOPs , andChange Controlsrelated to downstream processes. Lead and supportregulatory audits (USFDA, EU, TGA, etc.)and internal quality inspections. Team Management: Manage and mentor a team ofshift managers, supervisors, operators , and technical staff. Conductperformance reviews ,skill development , and ensure a culture ofsafety and accountability . Process Improvement & Technology: Collaborate with Process Engineering, R&D, and QA to implementprocess optimizationsandtechnology upgrades . Drive initiatives such asQbD, PAT , andLean Manufacturingin downstream operations. Inventory & Cost Control: Coordinate with SCM to ensure availability ofconsumables and utilitiesfor uninterrupted operations. Monitor and controlproduction costs ,material losses , andenergy consumption .Experience Required: 15+ Years in API Manufacturing.
