Job Description :

- Provide expert-level support for BMC Control-M Version 9x+ environments.

- Monitor Control-M jobs, identify and resolve scheduling issues, and ensure timely job execution.

- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for Control-M related incidents.

- Implement and manage Control-M configurations, including job definitions, calendars, and resource pools.

- Perform Control-M upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.

- Develop and maintain Control-M documentation, including operational procedures and troubleshooting guides.

- Provide expert-level support for SAP MFT environments.

- Monitor file transfers, identify and resolve transfer issues, and ensure successful file delivery.

- Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for SAP MFT related incidents.

- Implement and manage SAP MFT configurations, including transfer definitions, security settings, and logging.

- Perform SAP MFT upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities.

- Develop and maintain SAP MFT documentation, including operational procedures and troubleshooting guides.

- Manage and resolve incidents and problems related to Control-M and SAP MFT.

- Follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.

- Collaborate with other support teams and vendors to resolve complex issues.

- Monitor the performance of Control-M and SAP MFT environments.

- Identify and implement performance tuning and optimization strategies.

- Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports.

- Develop and maintain scripts for automating routine tasks and processes.

- Utilize Control-M automation features and scripting languages (e.g., shell scripting, Python) to improve efficiency.

- Create and maintain detailed documentation for Control-M and SAP MFT environments.

- Share knowledge and best practices with team members.

- Provide training and support to junior team members.

Mandatory Skills and Expertise :

- Extensive experience in supporting and managing BMC Control-M Version 9x+ environments.

- Deep understanding of Control-M job scheduling, monitoring, and administration.

- Experience with Control-M automation features and scripting.

- Extensive experience in supporting and managing SAP MFT environments.

- Deep understanding of file transfer protocols, security, and administration.

- Experience with SAP MFT configurations and troubleshooting.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -

- Strong understanding of ITIL best practices. -

- Experience with scripting languages (shell scripting, Python).

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5-16 years of experience in application support, with a focus on Control-M and SAP MFT.

- Relevant certifications (BMC Certified Professional, ITIL) are highly desirable.

- Candidates must be ready to join within 30 days or immediately.
