Job Title: Equity Trader Department:Dealing / Trading Desk Location:Bandra West Employment Type:Full TimeKey Responsibilities: Execute equity and F&O trades (NSE/BSE) as per client or proprietary requirements. Monitor stock market movements, trends, and key news events to identify trading opportunities. Maintain and manage trading positions while ensuring adherence to risk management guidelines. Communicate market updates, trading strategies, and performance reports to management and clients. Coordinate with the research team to align trades with market outlook and research recommendations. Ensure compliance with SEBI, Exchange, and internal compliance norms. Maintain trading records and prepare periodic reports on trade performance and profitability. Provide inputs for developing and improving trading algorithms or systems (if applicable).Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred). NISM Series VIII – Equity Derivatives and Series VII – Securities Operations certification (mandatory). 1–5 years of experience as an Equity/Derivatives Trader in a brokerage, PMS, or proprietary trading firm. Strong understanding of financial markets, technical and fundamental analysis. Proficiency in trading platforms (e.g., ODIN, NOW, NEAT, NEST, or similar).
