Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting & Closures:- Oversee timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures.- Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in line with IND-AS/IFRS.- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the general ledger and sub-ledgers.Audit Management:- Lead statutory and internal audits, liaising with external and internal auditors.- Implement corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.- Prior experience with Big 6 audit firms will be an added advantage.Compliance & Regulatory:- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements under Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other applicable laws.- Prepare and file all necessary returns, financial statements, and regulatory submissions.Internal Controls & Process Excellence:- Design, implement, and monitor internal controls for financial reporting and closure.- Identify process gaps and drive standardization, automation, and efficiency improvements.- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.- Gain a deep understanding of production and costing processes to enhance ERP and financial systems.Budgeting & Forecasting:- Support the CFO in annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to strengthen cost management and performance.Team Leadership:- Lead, coach, and develop the finance team across accounting, payables, receivables, and taxation.- Promote a culture of accuracy, discipline, and continuous Professional Qualification: CA / CPA / CMA.- 7-12 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, reporting, and audits within manufacturing organizations.- Strong exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) preferred.Preferred Background:- Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or engineering-driven industry.- Hands-on experience with inventory accounting, costing, and ERP management.- Handling Big 6 Auditors (ref:iimjobs.com)
