Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Closures:

  • Oversee timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures.
  • Prepare and review financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in line with IND-AS/IFRS.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the general ledger and sub-ledgers.

Audit Management

  • Lead statutory and internal audits, liaising with external and internal auditors.
  • Implement corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
  • Prior experience with Big 6 audit firms will be an added advantage.

Compliance & Regulatory

  • Ensure adherence to statutory requirements under Companies Act, GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other applicable laws.
  • Prepare and file all necessary returns, financial statements, and regulatory submissions.

Internal Controls & Process Excellence

  • Design, implement, and monitor internal controls for financial reporting and closure.
  • Identify process gaps and drive standardization, automation, and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.
  • Gain a deep understanding of production and costing processes to enhance ERP and financial systems.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support the CFO in annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to strengthen cost management and performance.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop the finance team across accounting, payables, receivables, and taxation.
  • Promote a culture of accuracy, discipline, and continuous Professional Qualification: CA / CPA / CMA.
  • 7-12 years of progressive experience in financial accounting, reporting, and audits within manufacturing organizations.
  • Strong exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.) preferred.

Preferred Background

  • Experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or engineering-driven industry.
  • Hands-on experience with inventory accounting, costing, and ERP management.
