We are looking for an experiencedAutomation Test Engineerwith strong expertise inSelenium (Java)and a solid understanding ofFinacle Core Banking Systems .The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation test suites across Finacle modules and other banking applications, ensuring product quality and reliability within agile delivery cycles.Key Responsibilities:Design and developautomation frameworks and scriptsusingSelenium WebDriver with Java , applying Page Object Model (POM) and TestNG frameworks. AutomateUI workflows and end-to-end business scenariosfor Finacle and related digital banking modules (CASA, Payments, Loans, Trade Finance, Treasury, etc.). PerformAPI and backend testing(SOAP/REST/SQL) for Finacle integrations with upstream and downstream systems. Analyse business and functional requirements to derive detailedtest scenariosand identify automation candidates. Collaborate with functional testers, developers, and business users to validate Finacle configurations and system behavior. Integrate and maintain automated scripts withinCI/CD pipelines(e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps). Conduct regression testing during new releases or Finacle patch upgrades. Ensure timelydefect reporting, tracking, and retesting , maintaining quality standards. Supporttest data creation , result analysis, and reporting using automation dashboards. Continuously enhance frameworks for scalability, reusability, and performance optimization.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor’s/Master’s degreein Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. 4–10 years of overall QA experience , with at least 4years in Selenium automation using Java . Strong programming expertise inCore Java (OOPs, Collections, Exception Handling, File I/O, etc.) . Hands-on experience inFinacle 10.x / 11.xorFinacle e-Banking modules . Strong understanding ofFinacle workflows, parameters, menus, and scripting. Knowledge ofTestNG / JUnit ,Maven/Gradle , andframework design principles(POM, Hybrid, or Data-Driven). Good SQL knowledge for backend data validation. Exposure toweb services testingusingPostmanorRestAssured . Experience withDefect Management tools(JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, etc.). Familiarity withAgile / Scrummethodologies. Excellent communication and analytical skills.Good-to-Have Skills: Knowledge ofUFT / Tosca / Cypressor other automation tools. Understanding ofbanking business processeslike Account Management, Loan Origination, Payments, Trade Finance, or Treasury. Experience inUnix/Linux commandsfor Finacle log analysis. ISTQB, Selenium, or Java certificationsare an added advantage.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to automation best practices.
