The company is in CA, USA.Job RoleWe are seeking an experienced QA Lead to oversee the quality assurance process for our applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in functional testing, infrastructure testing, and basic automation, combined with proven leadership abilities to guide and mentor QA teams. This role will ensure delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions by establishing and enforcing best practices in testing processes.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Strategy & Planning- Define QA strategy, approach, and execution for projects. - Develop test plans, test cases, and test data based on project requirements. - Identify risks, dependencies, and ensure proper test coverage.Functional & Infrastructure Testing- Perform end-to-end functional testing of web, mobile, and enterprise applications. - Conduct infrastructure testing to validate environments, configurations, and deployments. - Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to ensure stable and consistent environments.Automation & Tools- Implement and maintain basic automation scripts for regression and smoke testing. - Evaluate tools and frameworks to optimize testing efficiency. - Work with developers to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.Team Leadership & Mentorship- Lead, mentor, and guide a team of QA engineers, ensuring skill development and growth. - Allocate tasks, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones. - Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Quality Governance & Reporting- Define and track QA metrics (defect density, test coverage, defect leakage, etc.). - Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and standards. - Provide regular status reports and communicate quality risks to stakeholders.Responsibility to adhere to set internal controls.Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills- Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management. - Experience in infrastructure testing (servers, databases, environments, configurations). - Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar). - Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). - Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.Leadership & Communication- Proven ability to lead QA teams and manage cross-functional stakeholders. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail. - Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.Experience- 8+ years in software quality assurance. - Experience in both manual and automation testing. - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.Preferred Qualities- Proactive mindset with ownership and accountability. - Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality. - Passion for continuous learning and process improvement. - Collaborative leadership style to motivate and inspire team members.Education and Qualification- B.Tech or equivalent degree - Certification in quality control is an added advantageImmediate Joiners are Preferred.Location: Hyderabad, HybridExperience: 8 - 12 yearsCompensation: 22 - 25 LPATravel Required: 10% or lessWebsite: www.autorabit.com
