Title: Senior Data Modeler Location: Financial District, Hyderabad or Navalur, Chennai Mode: Full TimeRole Overview We are seeking an experiencedData Modelerto design, develop, document, and manage logical and physical data models supporting Oracle databases, data warehouse environments, and BI reporting tools such as MicroStrategy and Business Objects. The ideal candidate should have a solid background indata modeling, SQL, ETL principles, BI semantic modeling, and report development.Key Responsibilities Develop and managedata modelsfor normalized data warehouses and dimensional consumption layers usingER/Studio . Translatebusiness requirementsinto logical and physical data models. Analyze source databases to identify relationships, structures, and integration points. DesignSource-to-Target Data mappingand transformation logic. Partner with Engineering, QA, and Product teams to answer questions related todata lineage, business logic, and transformations . Support QA with troubleshooting and diagnosingdata inconsistenciesacross the BI platform. Ensure compliance with organizationaldata governance, software policies, and best practices .Basic Qualifications Strong experience indata modeling, SQL, and data analysis . Hands-on experience withOracle databasesand normalization principles. Familiarity withdata warehouse architectures, ETL principles, and BI semantic modeling . Proficiency withdata modeling tools(preferablyER/Studio ). Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts innon-technical language . Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in acollaborative team environment . Excellentattention to detail, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills . Experience with BI tools likeMicroStrategyandBusiness Objectsis a plus.
