3D Architectural Visualization Compositing Artist

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled 3D Architectural Visualization Compositing Artist with expertise in creating high-quality, photorealistic images and cinematic videos. The ideal candidate will be responsible for integrating 3D renders, passes, and layers into polished final outputs using compositing techniques, ensuring visual consistency, realism, and artistic excellence across stills and motion projects.

Key Responsibilities

For Images (Stills):

• Composite multiple render passes (beauty, reflections, shadows, AO, Z-depth, masks, etc.) into photorealistic still images.
• Enhance raw renders with post-production techniques such as color correction, retouching, and adding photographic effects.
• Integrate 3D renders seamlessly into photographic backgrounds and HDR environments.
• Work with Photoshop, After Effects, Nuke, or similar tools for final image finishing.
• Maintain a consistent visual style in line with project or client requirements.

For Videos (Animations):

• Composite 3D animation passes into high-quality architectural films.
• Add motion graphics, atmospheric effects (fog, dust, rain, light rays, flares), and other VFX elements.
• Perform color grading, camera tracking, and stabilization as required.
• Work with sound designers/editors to synchronize visuals with audio for impactful storytelling.
• Optimize output for multiple formats (HD, 4K, social media edits, etc.).

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating compositing skills in both still and motion projects (preferably in architectural visualization).
• Proficiency in compositing and post-production software (Photoshop, After Effects, Nuke, Fusion, or similar).
• Solid understanding of render passes and multi-pass workflows.
• Knowledge of 3D pipelines (3ds Max, Maya, Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar) and rendering engines (V-Ray, Corona, Unreal, etc.).
• Strong eye for detail, lighting, color balance, and photorealism.
• Experience in integrating VFX and motion graphics into architectural animations is a plus.
• Ability to manage deadlines and collaborate with 3D artists, animators, and creative directors.
