Responsibilities
- Linux System Management: Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers, webserver and workstations.
- Docker Container Management: Create, manage, and deploy Docker containers, ensuring efficient and scalable operations.
- Automation: Utilize configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef to automate repetitive tasks and deployments.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of Linux systems and Docker containers, addressing any bottlenecks or issues.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Git and Bitbucket to automate the testing, building, and deployment of applications.
- NGINX Management: Install, configure, and manage NGINX web servers for load balancing, reverse proxy, and security purposes.
- Version Control: Use Git for version control, collaborating with teams to manage code changes, branches, and releases effectively.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to Linux and Docker, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Security: Implement security measures to protect Linux systems and Docker containers from external threats.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator and Docker Container Administrator.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Linux commands, scripting languages (e.g. Bash, Python), and Docker commands.
- Automation Tools: Familiarity with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- CI/CD Tools: Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket, GitLab, or Jenkins.
- NGINX Knowledge: Hands-on experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining NGINX for web serving, load balancing, and reverse proxy setups.
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools such as Wazuh, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Security Knowledge: Understanding of security best practices and tools for Linux and Docker and NGINX.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
