Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and file a variety of employment-based immigration petitions, including but not limited to:- O-1A (Individuals with Extraordinary Ability)- EB-1A (Extraordinary Ability)- EB-2 NIW (National Interest Waiver)- Handle family-based immigration petitions including I-130, I-485 (Adjustment of Status), and related forms.- Prepare and file non-immigrant visa extensions such as I-539 and associated documentation.- Draft, review, and respond to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and Notices of Intent to Deny (NOIDs).- Conduct legal research and stay updated with immigration policies, regulations, and USCIS guidelines.- Provide accurate and timely legal advice to clients regarding their immigration options and strategies.- Maintain client records and manage case deadlines using legal practice management software.- Communicate effectively with clients, government agencies, and internal teams to ensure smooth case handling.Required Qualifications:- J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school.- Active license to practice law in any U.S. state (in good standing).- 3+ years of hands-on experience in U.S. immigration law, particularly with employment-based and family-based petitions.- Strong understanding of USCIS, DHS, and DOL regulations and procedures.- Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills.- Proficient in preparing immigration forms and legal documents.- Strong client communication and case management abilities.- Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases efficiently.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience using immigration software tools such as INSZoom, LawLogix, or Docketwise.- Familiarity with consular processing, PERM, or business immigration compliance.- Prior experience working in a high-volume immigration law firm or corporate immigration setting (ref:iimjobs.com)
