Position Overview :Join EDMO as a Solutions Architect to design and implement large-scale AI-powered educational technology systems that serve thousands of students and admissions professionals.Key Responsibilities :- Design end-to-end system architectures for AI-powered admissions and student services platforms- Lead technical discussions with university stakeholders and translate business requirements into scalable solutions- Architect integrations between AI systems, CRMs, student information systems, and document management platforms- Define technical standards, patterns, and best practices for the engineering team- Conduct system performance analysis and optimization- Lead proof-of-concept development for new AI capabilities- Mentor development teams and drive architectural decision-making- Ensure security, scalability, and compliance across all technical solutionsRequired Qualifications :- 7+ years of experience in system design and architecture- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP preferred) and microservices architecture- Expertise in designing REST APIs, event-driven architectures, and distributed systems- Experience with AI/ML system integration and deployment- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (Python, JavaScript, Java preferred)- Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and performance optimization- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines- Knowledge of security frameworks, authentication, and authorization patternsPreferred Qualifications :- Experience in EdTech, CRM, or document processing domains- Knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture and integration patterns- Understanding of compliance requirements (FERPA, SOC 2, GDPR)- Experience with LLM integration and vector databases- Certification in cloud architecture (AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Professional Cloud Architect)- Strong presentation and stakeholder management skillsGrowth Opportunities :- Lead technical strategy for major university partnerships- Drive innovation in AI-powered educational technology- Opportunity to speak at industry conferences and thought leadership- Path to Principal Architect (ref:hirist.tech)
