Job Description : - Galileo Ticketing Executive


  • Managing flight bookings: Handling flight bookings and ensuring smooth travel arrangements for clients
  • HNI Customer Handling : Handling HNI Customers query and giving support for all the last minute changes
  • Issuing tickets: Issuing air tickets to retail customers, B2B/Subagents, and B2C customers
  • Confirming waitlisted seats: Monitoring flights and liaising with airlines to confirm waitlisted seats
  • Managing GDS queues: Monitoring and managing GDS queues to keep track of passengers with schedule changes or canceled messages
  • Invoicing: Invoicing for each ticket issued and ensuring payment is collected
  • Checking for upsells: Checking for the possibility of upsells, better ticketing options, or reselling in a lower class
  • Providing support: Supporting the in-house and UK reservation team with queries related to fares, ticketing, fare rules, and cancellation rules
  • Quality checks: Ensuring 100% quality checks are done before tickets are issued
  • Liaising with airlines: Liaising with airlines on special requests like extra seats or meal requests
  • Staying updated: Staying updated on the latest travel trends, destinations, and industry regulations


Some skills that are desirable for a Galileo ticketing executive include:


  • Good communication skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Good organizational skills
  • Understanding of the travel process flowchart
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Proficiency in handling multiple tasks simultaneously


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Travel, Tourism, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with GDS systems (e.g., Galileo) is an advantage.
  • Understanding of travel regulations and policies in the UK and US.
