The company has been continuously innovating on cutting edge technologies including building its own Ola Maps, inhouse cloud innovations, leveraging AI to automate customer and driver service and to optimize matching and allocation of rides, and continues to aggressively drive electrification of its fleet.

The Financial services arm of the business leverages the existing large user base to offer insurance products (such as ride insurance, flight insurance, health insurance) and lending products (such Buy-Now-Pay-Later, Ola Wallet). Ola Consumer also offers vehicle finance products for the sale of electric 2-wheelers. By leveraging the existing 2W fleet, Ola has been rapidly scaling its ONDC food, grocery delivery and logistics businesses. This allows us to drive superior utilization of its 2W fleet and increase average driver earnings.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis of market trends, industry dynamics, and competitive landscapes to provide strategic insights and recommendations for key internal stakeholders
  • Assessment of strategic opportunities by business & new initiatives
  • Support fundraise efforts for Ola Group
  • Work with cross functional team on key strategic projects
  • Analyze the financial performance of companies within the corporate group, including assessing financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and economic factors impacting business operations
  • Prepare comprehensive research reports, whitepapers, and presentations that summarize findings, insights, and strategic recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Gather, manage, and analyze financial and operating datasets from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy for generating key industry and market insights

Experience & Skills

  • Engineering & MBA from Tier 1 Institutions
  • 3-5 years Industry Experience in a top tier Consulting/VC/IB firm
  • Experience of working as an entrepreneur or in an early-growth startup would be a big plus
  • Strategic thinker & an efficient problem solver
  • Excellent with data analytics
  • Good with research - getting to the next level of detail to draw insights.
  • Impeccable communicator
  • Great at collaborating and partnering skills
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Ability to meet project objectives within designated constraints
