Role: L2 & L3 Protocol test EngineerRequired Technical Skill Set**L2: VLANs, xSTP, LACP, LLDP, VRRP, Mac learning, ARP, Q in QL3: OSPF, BGP, ISIS, QOSExperience Range - 4-6 yearsLocation: HyderabadDesired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)Must-Have**- Experience in L2 & L3 Protocols testing - Familiarity with traffic test equipment like ixia and Spirent. - Ability to understand end to end regression testing work flow at technology area and platform/product level - Having experience and capability in solving complex issues in testing. - High quality debugging skills, ascertaining the reason for failure, distinguish between a SW bug or otherwise precisely. - Test automation frameworks, tools and scripting languages is a must and preferably in Python, Robot framework. - Strong analytical skills to debug and isolate problems. - Aptitude to learn new technology quickly and adapt to new feature testing/new assignments faster. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Responsibilities include, test planning, test script execution, defect analysis & tracking, and script fixing and test reports. - Good exposure in following technologies:Routing & switching architectures.L2: VLANs, xSTP, LACP, LLDP, VRRP, Mac learning, ARP, Q in QL3: OSPF, BGP, ISISQOSFirewalls & PolicerECMP & load balancing.- Familiarity with traffic test equipment like ixia and Spirent.
