Job Overview :

BlitzenX is seeking a seasoned ClaimCenter Data Migration Developer to lead and execute end-to-end data transformation and ingestion initiatives for large-scale Guidewire Cloud migrations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Guidewire ClaimCenter, be certified on the Las Lenas release, and bring deep expertise in legacy-to-cloud migration, ETL pipelines, and data modeling for insurance platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Responsibilities :

- Lead Guidewire ClaimCenter data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, and loading of data from legacy systems.

- Design and implement data conversion strategies, mapping logic, and reconciliation processes aligned with project and business requirements.

- Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and client stakeholders to define data requirements and develop transformation rules.

- Develop, test, and optimize ETL workflows using tools such as SSIS, Guidewire xCenters, and CMT/PMT.

- Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure migration accuracy and completeness.

- Perform mock data conversions, support dry runs, and lead final cutover to production environments.

- Resolve data quality issues and manage exceptions through documented remediation plans.

- Support post-migration activities including defect resolution, data audits, and UAT issue triage.

- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and regulatory compliance policies.

Project & Client Responsibilities :

- Serve as the technical lead for migration workstreams within Guidewire implementation programs.

- Interface with onshore and offshore teams for planning, status updates, and issue resolution.

- Deliver clear documentation including data dictionaries, conversion specs, mapping sheets, and audit reports.

- Participate in code reviews, peer collaboration, and implementation best practices.

- Communicate effectively with client-side stakeholders and contribute to a smooth delivery process.

- Travel to client locations when required.

Team & Leadership Responsibilities :

- Mentor and guide junior developers and analysts on migration best practices and tooling.

- Foster a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.

- Participate in talent development initiatives, performance management, and organizational training.

- Lead by example through professionalism, technical excellence, and effective communication.

Qualifications :

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (BE/BTech/MCA).

Certifications :

Mandatory : Guidewire ClaimCenter Certification (Las Lenas release).

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Expertise :

- Strong understanding of Guidewire ClaimCenter and PolicyCenter data models.

Proven hands-on experience with :

- Guidewire xCenter Framework

- ETL Tools (SSIS or equivalent)

- PMT/CMT for data transformation and migration

- Data Mapping, Data Modeling, and Profiling

Data Integration and Synchronization :

- Data Lifecycle Management, Retention Policies, and Metadata Taxonomy

- Enterprise Architecture Principles

- Working knowledge of application servers like Tomcat, WebSphere, or WebLogic.

- Deep familiarity with insurance domain (Property & Casualty preferred).

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

- Strong leadership and team collaboration capabilities.

- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Guidewire Cloud migration projects.

- Exposure to PolicyCenter configuration and migration initiatives.

- Experience supporting data warehouse design, business intelligence reporting, and analytics post-migration.
