As a Scala Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality software solutions using the Scala programming language. You will work closely with our engineering team to build scalable and efficient systems that power our products and services. Responsibilities :


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions using Scala


- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets the project requirements


- Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices


- Troubleshoot and debug issues in production systems


- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to Scala development


Qualifications :


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field


- 1-3 years of experience working as a software engineer, with a focus on Scala development


- Deep understanding of functional programming concepts like immutability, higher-order functions, monads, and functional data structures.


- Proficiency in Scala syntax, idioms, and core libraries (collections, actors, futures).


- Experience in designing and developing scalable and efficient systems using Scala.


- Ability to write unit tests with frameworks like ScalaTest, and conduct code reviews for quality and maintainability.


- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug production issues.


- Familiarity with Scala frameworks like Akka for concurrency or Play for web development.


- Experience with build tools like SBT or Maven for project management.


- Proficiency in using Git for version control; experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools is a plus.
