Description :As a Senior Manager at Global Payments, you will take ownership for the delivery of business critical products.We are looking for someone to manage a delivery team that can lead innovation, drive improvements, set technical direction, and consistently meet the needs of the business.You will :- Manage technical talent acquisition, growth and retention.- Work with product and key stakeholders to set desired product roadmaps.- Drive critical improvements to stay ahead of the growing business needs.- Evaluate new technologies and delivery practices.- Drive accurate and efficient project estimates.- Create project plans, identify dependencies and risks, and allocate resources.- Develop capacity plans and skills assessments.- Stay up to date on the latest security threats and secure application design and coding practices.- Manage third party consultants.- Lead the design, craftsmanship, availability, resilience, security and scalability of your solutions.- Foster a culture to stay on top of technology trends and participate in technology communities.- Encourage innovation, inclusion, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity.- Lead and mentor a team of development, quality assurance, and support engineers.- Simultaneously drive multiple large initiatives potentially across multiple scrum teams.- Prepare and present technical presentations and project status.- Provide required information for the annual budget.Basic Qualifications :- 3 years or more experience in software development management.- 13 years or more experience in .NET and/or java software development.- Expert level proficiency in agile practices and project management.- Real-time processing and high-volume service development experience.Preferred Qualifications :- 4+ years experience in software development management.- Experience developing and managing cloud solutions.- Payments industry experience.
